We may receive compensation from operators if you sign up via the links on this page. This does not affect what our reviews say or which operators we list. How we make money

We list 5 sportsbooks registered for Ontario. No row is scored or ranked against another: each one is an operator contracted by iGaming Ontario, and the review behind it describes the product.

Ontario's regulated betting market

Ontario runs its own regulated market. The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario is the regulator, and iGaming Ontario contracts the operators who run the sites — its public directory lists 49 operators and 84 gaming sites. A sportsbook that is not in that directory is not in this table.

What a review on this site covers

  • Registration — the registrant in iGaming Ontario's directory and the sister brands it runs.
  • Markets — the leagues at the top of the menu, from the NHL and CFL to European football and tennis.
  • Live betting and bet types — in-play markets, singles and parlays.
  • The account — a casino on the same balance, apps, and whether the site runs in English, French or both.

Three habits that matter more than any single bet

  1. Compare prices. Prices differ per market and per book; checking more than one is how you take the best of them rather than the first one you see.
  2. Stake a fixed share of a bankroll you have decided in advance. One to three per cent per bet keeps a bad run survivable.
  3. Judge the price, not the result. A bet can be right and still lose. The book's margin is what you are fighting, and it compounds on every extra leg of a parlay.
